My first encounter with BKT was when I first came to Singapore at the age of 8 with my dad. We were here for a month every summer for 3 consecutive years! And those childhood memories still come to full life when I have a bowl of Ng Ah Sio's BKT @ Rangoon Rd. Yup, I also find this place pricey but I just can't resist. One day, I offered to buy their polo shirt and they quickly replied yes. So, my friend and I wore it right at the restaurant and they kindly showed us the inside of their kitchen. Now that was quite an experience!
