


I've already written about
bak chor mee -dry type, this one at Joo Heng (Ang Mo Kio 紅毛橋 Yio Chu Kang Market and Hawker Centre) is the soup type. Long queue, at around 9:00 am on weekdays. Rather ordinary clear pork broth (I chose mee pok), with minced pork, braised shiitake mushrooms. The garnish here is rather simple cuz, usually, if you order bak chor mee, you'd get pork balls, sway gao, sliced pork, etc. Oh well, I think this bak hor mee is for hangovers.
